1980 Arkansas All American Band Members

1980 McDonald's All-American Band members Robbie Harkrider from Greenbrier and Keith Yarberry from Carlisle pose with Rose Parade Queen Julie Raatz and Band Master Paul Lavalle. Two members from each state, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico were chosen to make up the 104 member group. The band performed in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, played a concert in Carnegie Hall and marched in the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California. Harkrider was also a member of the Jazz band which played at McDonald's 25th anniversary celebration in Toronto, Canada and on the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon in Las Vegas, Nevada.
